 Today I am going to write about apps. What does app mean? Application (App) is a program that allows you to perform specific tasks. We use these apps daily and extensively. It has made our life easy. We use them for all purposes from fun to learning, like playing, listening to music, watching videos,shows and movies & also for shopping all our needs from clothes to grocery, for online learning, for office work . There are different kinds of apps available dating apps, chatting apps, shopping apps, business apps, lifestyle apps, travel apps and many more.

But do u know who invented these apps ? Back in 1983 young Steve jobs first envisioned the app store. He imagined a place where software could be bought over phone lines. Anyway in 1997, the Nokia 6110 included a built-in version of the basic arcade game "Snake", which many consider the first mobile app. 

Today the total number of apps on the planet has reached a massive 8.93 million. Google play app store has the biggest number of available apps followed by the apple app store. 1000 new apps are made by apple app store and 1300 by google play apps. Tiktok, Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram are the most popular apps of 2021.

By the way u can make ur own apps today that too by the help of an app only which helps u to make apps. Appy pie is one of the most popular app makers. It can help u to make ur own app in minutes. It is an inevitable topic but I have tried to sum it up with basic information.
